About Full Court Sports
"Full Court Sports is fantastic if you are looking for a fun and engaging atmosphere for your kid(s). Kris and Ross have many years of varied coaching experience which helped my daughter learn and improve her skill in both basketball and volleyball. I can not say enough wonderful things about this coaching duo... they are out on the courts for the kids!!!"
Kate Nichol - parent/Barrie Royals Coach
"Our son has played with Full Court Sports for over a year now and it has to be, by far, the best part of his week. Coach Kris and Coach Ross have always made out son feel accepted, respected and challenged through their caring nature and fair expectations. He has learned a lot, in both sports, because the coaches challenge each player to do better than they did the session before. Thanks for helping my son, and the other players, improve at the sports they love while having a blast!"
Shannon Rankka - parent/SCDSB Teacher
About Coach Ross
"I've had the privilege of coaching elementary school sports with Ross Hreljac for over a decade. In that time, I've witnessed his talent in teaching kids how to be better athletes and excel at their sport, inspiring them to work harder than they ever have, and encouraging them to never give up. The performance and overall character that he demands from his athletes is second to none. If you child is interested in developing their athletic skills, I highly recommend signing them up for a session with Full Court Sports Development."
Holly Griese, SCDSB Teacher/co-coach (Minesing Central P.S.)
"Ross is more than just a coach that teaches skills, the strategy of the game, and the importance of teamwork. He knows how to bring out the best in an athlete and instills confidence. Above all else, his mentoring leaves a lasting impression on those that have had the pleasure of being coached by him - both on and off the court."
Cheri Harris - parent
“As a young athlete, coaching can make or break the experience of any sport. The instruction, guidance, and perhaps most importantly, the support I received as a novice basketball player under Mr. H. (Ross Hreljac) was pivotal in my journey to achieving my dream of playing at the D1 level. I’m forever grateful to my “first coach” for teaching me not only sound fundamentals of the game but true sportsmanship and the power of belief in oneself… thank you Coach!”
Piper Doo - Hofstra Women’s Basketball alumnus
About Coach Kris
"Kris Odette is highly dedicated to providing opportunities for the growth of young people through sport. He is committed to providing the best to the athletes under his charge by being both professional and personal in his coaching duties. The constructive criticism, praise and care that he shows his athletes and their families is second to none. He has provided so much guidance and knowledge to both my daughter, as an athlete and myself, as a fellow coach. His knowledge of sport both mentally and physically appears in his enthusiasm for both the sport and his athletes. He has high expectations of his athletes and pushes them to achieve their very best in both sport and life. Choosing Kris to mentor your child is a decision that you will never regret! "
Tara Douglas - SCDSB Teacher and Georgian Cubs Coach
"Our daughter has been coached by Coach Kris for 5 years. In that time she has developed into a fantastic volleyball player but it was the personal development that we are most grateful for. When Coach Kris started coaching our daughter, she was shy and lacked confidence. Kris brought the right amount encouragement, fun and personal development to our daughter and her self confidence improved dramatically. She was encouraged to try new skills, even if they weren't perfect rather than to always play it safe. The coaching she received has affected all areas of her life and not just volleyball. Our daughter truly looks forward to the fun of practices. Thanks Coach Kris for everything!"
Miranda and Chris Cudmore - Lawyer and SCDSB Teacher
“I was lucky enough to have Kristopher as my coach for my first year of playing rep volleyball when I was 13 years old.
I had never played in any sort of competitive league for sports before, only school teams. He was very patient in teaching me the rules, regulations and differences from school sanctioned sports. He always made sure that I understood them fully which made the experience more enjoyable.
Like most coaches, he is able to see weaknesses in whatever skill the players may be working on. Unlike most coaches, he will spend time with the player one on one in a professional and caring way until they are able to strengthen the skill and feel more confident with themselves.”
Kerri Scott - Former Barrie Elites Volleyball Player and Coach
